Wow!  He asked, you said yes, you finally got the engagement ring; and what a beautiful ring it is.  You are about to embark upon one of the most exciting times of your life.  I think every bride deserves to have a gorgeous wedding.  I firmly believe that will come to fruition with the help of a Professional Bridal Consultant.  I am Calandra Terry and the name of my business is An Event To Remember, LLC. 

I think it is crucial for the bride to have a connection with her wedding coordinator, so I will take this opportunity to share a little bit about myself with you.  First of all, I too was in the same place you are less than two years ago.  I remember the excitement around planning my wedding.  My husband's name is Reginald and we are the proud parents of two Rottweilers.  My husband is actually a Rottweiler breeder and handler and has informed me that one day one of our dogs will be in the Westminister.  I guess I better get ready to sit on the couch of the Today show when we win.  My hobbies include singing and travelling.  My most fulfilling travel experience was going to Kenya in 2003 and 2004 for mission work.  God has not blessed us with a child yet but we definitely want children. 

I have twenty  two years of sales experience with nine of those years concentrating more on sales marketing in the pharmaceutical industry where I earned numerous honors and awards from the 3 companies I worked for.  I have a Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology and have three years experience working as a Speech Pathologist. 

Weddings are absolutely my passion.  I love everything that is associated with weddings.  I think if I had to pick what I like most it would be the beautiful bride on her wedding day.  I believe every bride has a once in a lifetime glow that is reserved only for her wedding day.  There is absolutely nothing more fulfilling than the smile on the bride and grooms face as she takes that walk down the aisle. 

I developed a love for weddings through the experiences I had growing up singing in weddings.  I actually began planning weddings in 1998 for friends and family. In 2004, I decided to follow my dream of owning a full service Bridal Consulting Business and created An Event To Remember, LLC. 

I have been  a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants since 2004; where I graduated from their Professional Development Program as a Distinguished Graduate and have been designated a Professional Bridal Consultant.  Currently, I am the Alabama State Coordinator for the Association of Bridal Consultants.  I have five assistants and between them they have many years of wedding and event planning experience.

Our mission is to provide each bride with a wonderful, stress free wedding planning experience.  We focus on all the details associated with making your "dream" wedding a reality.  Our goal is to make sure that your wedding day is "An event to remember."
